Dear friends,
Last week a great number of locals crowded into Neville Twitchell’s Sawbridgeworth bookshop to listen to a talk from Jeff Page about Sawbridgeworth and East Herts in Victorian times. Neville told us it was the best attended lecture to date and opbviously very much appreciated. After the talk I took the opportunity to introduce our society. A number of people seemed interested in joining.
We are of course more than happy to welcome new members. As it happens our next meeting is our AGM and will take place at 10am on Thursday 30th March at the council chambers at Sayesbury Manor in Bell Street. Do let us know if you want to come. If you are unsure about joining, why not give it a try and see what we are doing.
